For all the non-Emiratis who visit my blog I just want to tell you that today (Dec 2) is the official national day of the UAE, the day we all united into one independent country! So let's celebrate!

THE SEQUINED CLOAK! Ya you heard me!





Ok so I have seen this on the runway and it looked like a signature piece FOR THE RUNWAY! And I was horrified when I discovered net-a-porter were SERIOUSLY selling this! Whaaat??

Look at their description about it:

Oh Queen B who fired your stylist?

Every week all the girls I know would tune in to watch the latest episode of Gossip Girl. No not for the overexaggerated and confusing drama, but for the amazing wardrobe of Queen Blair Waldorf. For about 2 seasons Blair never ceased to impress.

Even though I personally love Serena's style more, I know that Blair is the Queen of them all!


But when I started watching season 3 I was incredibly disappointed! The preppy, classic and vintage inspired style of Queen B turned into, rubbish! Seriously, I hate most of her outfits up to now and if there's something I like it is not WOW like before! I must add I'm hating her updos they make her look so old!


OLD QUEEN B (Season 1 - 2)









NEW QUEE.. well not really she isn't good enough for that title anymore! NEW BLAIR (Season 3)

Why did they make her wear that? That outfit is so uncoordinated and makes her look 30, and don't get me started on that hideous updo!

This outfit isn't that horrible, but it's something someone older would wear.


This outfit is SO not Blair! Just look at the ugly colors, oh and again the stupid hairstyle reappears

Hmmmm? Mixed feelings about this

First I must say how Chuck Bass looks hot! Second Blair looks really, really unattractive. When I saw that hairstyle I wanted to die! What were they thinking? It was so so so unflattering! If they let her gorgeous locks just flow naturally it would've been so much better!

Overall I think in season 3 her style is for someone way older! Blair is supposed to be what 18 or 19? And she's dressed like someone at least 30+


Oh now where is the old Queen B? And who is this new ekh Blair?


I know it's just the beginning of the season, but still I'm so disappointed!

Who Wore What: Emmy's 2009

I know the Emmy's were a couple of days ago, but I just got into the mood to blog lol


So let's see what everyone was wearing!
I'll be giving my opinion on everyone's OVER-ALL look (not the dress only)

Drew Barrymore wearing Monique L'huillier. I love how soft and feminine the look is but it's not WOW so I give it an 8.5/10

Olivia Wilde from House M.D. is wearing Marchesa. The gown is definitely eccentric in a good way but I'm not very sure about the cut it doesn't suit her body and makes her curve-less on the top portion of her body. So that's a 7.5/10

Rose Byrne wearing a vintage Valentino gown. I don't typically like such dresses but on her it looks fab! Plus I love her hair! So that's a 9/10

Blake Lively wearing Versace. The dress is hot but it would've been better if it was maybe more fitted? And her weird hairstlye is a turn off! Sorry Blake 6.5/10

Jennifer Love Hewitt wearing Max Azria. I love her overall look it's not very glamorous for sure but she looks very cute! So that's an 8.5/10

Heidi Klum wearing Marchesa. Here's an example of how life is unfair! Heidi Klum looks incredibly sexy even with that oversized pregnant belly of hers! I'm not sure of her earring though but hey who cares? 10/10

Jamie Lynn wearing Donna Karan. I personally hate the material of that dress! But she looks really good in it! So 8.5/10

January Jones wearing Versace. When I first saw this picture I was like WHO THE HELL IS THIS GORGEOUS GAL I WANT HER GOWN, NOW! (No I don't watch Mad Men) Anyways I'm pretty sure that January Jones was the talk of the emmys this year! Her gown is to-die-for and that color is just amazing! 10/10

Ginnifer Goodwin wearing Yves Saint Laurent. I love her overall look but I think she's missing a tan! But she stepped up her game so that's a 8.5/10

Holly Hunter wearing Georges Hobeika. When I'm 51 years old I wanna look like that. 9/10

Leighton Meester in Bottega Veneta. Why oh why? I don't like this look, the dress is bleh and what's up with the dark makeup? 6/10
